Best practices to safely handle and release hooked pelagic stingray (Pteroplatytrygon violacea) onboard pelagic longliner

Practicing careful catch and release is important because it can drastically decrease the number of protected, endangered, and threatened species (PETS) and non-commercial fish that die after being released. This video presents one solution to release a pelagic stingray (Pteroplatytrygon violacea) with a dehooker.
